Cinderella, especially Disney’s "Cinderella," is legendary. That dress! Those blues! That blonde hair! How do you translate that into a doily? The answer is a lot of searching and testing. I found that mandalas captured the drape of the dress, so I chose that branch of crochet doilies. Then I tested blues to recapture those two shades from the original. The very center is not only her face but also the distinctive headband and blonde hair. I want the whole doily to be a kaleidoscope effect, as if you are looking at Cinderella from above and she is twirling.
