Butterflies are beautiful, so anything with them instantly becomes just a little extra pretty. I made three butterflies, which I intended to be together, but they are wonderful on their own. This is a doily, but very untraditional! This is from a vintage pattern. I chose the variegated thread because I had Spring on my mind. Though butterflies have distinct color areas, when they fly those colors blur. This is the feel of all the colors flying by on a spring day.
